The history of lacrosse was that the Native Americans invented lacrosse before explorers arrived. Lacrosse is the oldest known athletic game in North America.

Equipment
In girls’ lacrosse you must have a girls’ lacrosse stick and a lacrosse face guard but a lot of people call the face guard goggles because they only cover your eyes and some of them cover your nose too. In girls’ lacrosse you will also need to have a mouth guard so if the ball hits your mouth, it won’t knock out all your teeth.

Official rules in girls lacrosse
In girls’ lacrosse you can’t check above the shoulder of the person you are playing defense against or you will get called by the referee and the other team will get the ball. You can not have a clear mouth piece. You also need to have a lacrosse ball and they need to be yellow or white.
